The community and its families are at the heart of everything Leslie's Laundry Foundation does. With the support of donors this foundation provides new and gently worn clothing and footwear to local children and expectant mothers.
This non-profit was organized to help combat childhood clothing insecurity. Two out of every five children in the United States (about 20 million children) lack clean, well fitting, and appropriate clothing. This is the inspiration behind the foundation.

Your donations of new and gently worn clothing are essential to our mission. We hope to give children better clothing than they are accustomed. Anyone can drop off new and gently worn clothing at our location, in Camden, NY. All incoming clothing is laundered, sorted, and then redistributed to local families.
If you don't have clothing to donate, your monetary donations allow us to supplement our current inventory with new items to meet immediate needs. While also supporting the ongoing need for necessities such as diapers, underwear, maternity wear, and winter clothing. These monetary gifts help us to also purchase essential supplies like laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and more.

Our why...
"
Leslie's Laundry provides families with the essentials. In 2024 Leslie washed almost 800 loads of donated clothing. "I love the work that I have been able to accomplish (with the Lord's guidance) and am working every day now to expand our mission."
​
We also carry gently used cloth diapers as well as new cloth diapers for sale. I hope to help increase the number of new mothers who wish to use cloth diapers by making the transition as easy as possible.
